Angela "Tootsie" (Morrison) Moore

Angela “Tootsie” Morrison Moore, age 62, of Baxley, died Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, after an extended illness. She was a native of Vidalia and lived most of her life there before moving to Baxley several years ago. “Tootsie” was a homemaker and attended Blocker’s Chapel. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, reading her novels, and was a kindhearted caretaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Belle Morrison.

Mrs. Moore’s loved ones include her daughter, Hannah Cauley of Baxley; two sisters, Denise Osborne and husband Johnny of Oak Park and Gayle McKenzie and husband Roger of Swainsboro; four grandchildren, Marlanna Cauley, Clayton Cauley, Weston Cauley, and Wesley Cauley; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 16th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home with Pastor Brad McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Soperton.
