Odum,
Mr. Chris Galbreath, age 51, of Odum, died April 5th, 2023, at his home. He was a native of Vidalia and lived most of his life in Dublin before moving to Odum. Mr. Galbreath loved being on the open road and was a truck driver for thirty years with several trucking and logistics companies. He loved Jeeps, his family and friends, building model trucks, and was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Galbreath’s loved ones include one son, Chris Galbreath and wife Amber of Uvalda; one daughter, Allie Noecker and husband James of Bartow; Stepfather, William Clark of Rentz, and Stepmother, Mary Galbreath of Lyons; siblings, Margaret Reid and husband Ronnie of Macon, Sandy Green and husband Randall, Debra Vann, Kathy Nobles and husband Steve all of Dublin, Gerald Galbreath and wife Robyn of Chelsea, Maine, Michael Galbreath and wife Jennie of Dublin, Chris Clark and wife Tammy of Macon, DJ Clark and wife Amy of Dublin, Keith Campbell and wife Alesia of Lyons; one granddaughter, Tabby Galbreath of Uvalda; one grand-dog, Loki; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
The memorial service will be held Monday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Toole officiating. A private inurnment will follow in the Ohoopee Cemetery in Lyons.
