Darlene Billingsley Obituary

Ms. Darlene Billingsley, age 63 of Vidalia, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Community Hospice House following an extended illness. She was a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived most of her life in Vidalia. She spent her time as a homemaker and attended Tifton First Assembly of God. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter, Adaline Carter. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and John Hyatt; and her dog, “Pooches.”

Darlene is survived by her fiancé, William Strickland of Vidalia; one daughter, Gina Carter of Vidalia; two brothers, Lloyd Williamson of Brunswick, and Dave Hyatt of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren, Adaline Carter, and June-Bug Hyatt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
