Herbert H Bryant

Mr. Herbert H. Bryant, age 93, of Lyons, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. He was a native of Toombs County and lived most of his life in Lyons and loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Herbert worked for Altamaha Electric Membership Cooperatives for fifty years and retired as a staking engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Emma Bryant, and his wife, Ann Coleman Bryant.

Mr. Herbert’s loved ones include two sons, Ron Bryant and wife Madolyn of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Charles Bryant and wife Cathy of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren, Alex Bryant of Redondo Beach, California, Ross Bryant of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Anna Bryant of Lyons, and Kaitlyn Bell and husband Corey of Vidalia; three great-grandchildren, Kash Taylor of Lyons, Will Hester, and Owen Bell; and two step great-grandchildren, Legend Bell and Brooklyn Bell all of Vidalia.

Per Mr. Herbert's wishes, a private family graveside service was held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens on Monday morning February 27th at 11:00am with Reverend Daniel Gilliam officiating.
