Tina Marie (Youngblood) Sanders

Ms. Tina Sanders, age 57 of Vidalia, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She had lived most of her life in Vidalia. Tina was preceded in death by her biological father, John Youngblood, and her sister, Denise Youngblood.

Tina’s family includes her parents, Judy and David Griffin of Vidalia; one son, Cory Whitfield; one daughter, Dorinda Whitfield of Vidalia; two brothers, Paul Henriott and Wife Jacquis of San Antonio Texas, and DJ Griffin of Vidalia; two sisters, Gena Lykan of Indiana, and Sharon Youngblood of Vidalia; two grandchildren, Marvin Powell and Destiny Powell of Vidalia; one aunt, Shirley Harper of Douglas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home on Monday, February 27th at 4:00pm with Pastor Mike Poppell and Randy McDuffie officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon at 3:00pm until just prior to the service. 

A private interment will be held at a later date.
